If you believe your data protection rights have been breached, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or your local data protection authority where applicable.
14) Account Controls, Cache Clearing, and Deletion
A) Data management inside the App
The App may allow you to clear cached data, refresh stored items, or manage local app data. Clearing cache removes locally stored copies on your device, but it will not necessarily remove server-stored information such as your account, favourites, playlists, or subscriptions.
B) Deleting your account
You can request deletion of your Gospel Worship Voices account directly inside the mobile app. Open the app, sign in to the account you want to remove, then go to Profile > Delete Account.
The in-app deletion flow currently works as follows:
- Open the Delete Account screen from your Profile settings
- Type "DELETE" to confirm the request
- If your account uses email and password sign-in, you may be asked for your current password
- Submit the request from the app
- Open the verification email we send to your account email address and follow the secure confirmation link
- The app then completes the deletion and clears local account data from your device
If you cannot access the app or need help with deletion, you can contact support@gospelworshipvoices.app for help.
To help prevent accidental or unauthorised deletion, we may ask you to confirm the request in the app, verify the request by email, re-authenticate, or provide your current password before deletion is completed.
If there is an unresolved billing issue or other active payment-related problem on your account, account deletion may be delayed until the issue is resolved through the appropriate subscription management process.
When your account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify your personal data unless we need to retain certain data for legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud prevention, backup, or operational reasons.
15) Children's Privacy
Gospel Worship Voices is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.
If we learn that we collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent where required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Users under 16 should not use the Services without parental or guardian consent and supervision.
16) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and secure credential storage.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You use the Services at your own risk.
17) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are material, we may notify you through the App, website, email, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy means you accept the revised policy.
